The main objective of the author is to show the re-establishment of independent India on the banks of the river. For this reason, the author did not feel the need to show the later life of Emperor Chandragupta in the book and only gave two or four hints at the end.

The author has observed that the adult readers of this country are no less ignorant about the history of ancient India than the boys.
