His father Janakinath Bose was an established lawyer in Cuttack. Netaji’s reading career began in Cuttack as a child. His talent has been known since childhood. He passed the entrance examination from Ravenso Collegiate School in Cuttack with distinction. His college education began at Calcutta Presidency College. Professor Otten of that college was an anti-India. Subhash Chandra Bose strongly protested against the indecent remarks of the professor.
That is why he was expelled from college. After the efforts of Ashutosh Mukherjee, he was admitted to the Scottish Church College with honors in philosophy. Next go to England for ICS exam. In 1919, he finished fourth in the ICS examination. After that, he started rejecting the temptation of one big government job after another back in the country. And decided that his only job was to fight for the independence of the country.
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose could not accept Gandhari’s nonviolent movement in that way, because at that time there was no way to defeat the British without an armed movement, such a mentality was created. He said that If we want to make India independent, we need a capable army which cannot be procured from the country at the moment. They have to be hit from outside. And he left the country and went abroad to form an army without freedom.
